To support the sustainability of open-access publishing and ensure the quality of the editorial and production processes, FOSTER: Journal of English Language Teaching applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles.

The standard APC is Rp. 500,000 (Indonesian Rupiah) or its equivalent in USD at the time of payment. The following APC policy applies:

• International authors: No APC (100% waiver). Articles authored by international researchers are published free of charge.
• Indonesian authors: The standard APC is Rp. 500,000 per accepted article.
• Indonesian authors collaborating with international authors: A 50% APC discount is provided, reducing the APC to Rp. 250,000 per accepted article.

The APC covers costs related to editorial handling, peer-review management, plagiarism screening, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, indexing, and long-term digital archiving.

The APC is charged only after an article has been accepted for publication. There is no submission fee for the initial submission of a manuscript.

Authors are responsible for any additional bank transfer fees, transaction charges, or other payment-related costs that may apply.
