To support the sustainability of open-access publishing and ensure the quality of the editorial and production processes, FOSTER: Journal of English Language Teaching applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to articles that have been accepted for publication.

Indonesian Authors Collaborating with International Authors 50% DISCOUNT The APC is reduced from Rp. 500,000 to Rp. 250,000 per accepted article.
What Does the APC Cover?

The APC contributes to the operational costs associated with the journal's editorial and publication processes, including:

Editorial Handling
Administrative and editorial processing of manuscripts.
Peer-Review Management
Coordination and administration of the peer-review process.
Plagiarism Screening
Text-similarity screening and academic integrity checks.
Copyediting and Typesetting
Preparation of accepted manuscripts for publication.
Online Hosting
Digital hosting and online access to published articles.
Indexing and Digital Archiving
Support for indexing and long-term digital preservation.
When Is the APC Paid?

The APC is charged only after an article has been formally accepted for publication. There is no submission fee for the initial submission of a manuscript.

Additional Payment Costs

Authors are responsible for any additional bank transfer fees, transaction charges, currency-conversion costs, or other payment-related expenses that may arise during the APC payment process.
