  About FOSTER JELT
FOSTER: Journal of English Language Teaching (FOSTER JELT) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri Palopo (UIN Palopo), Indonesia . The journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, teachers, teacher educators, and practitioners to disseminate research and engage in academic dialogue on contemporary issues in English language teaching and learning.
  Focus and Scope
FOSTER JELT focuses on research and scholarly studies related to English language teaching, English language education, and second/foreign language learning. The journal welcomes empirical research, theoretical studies, and innovative scholarly contributions addressing, among others: language teaching and learning, teacher education and professional development, curriculum and assessment, language skills, language acquisition, English for Specific and Academic Purposes, educational technology and digital learning, artificial intelligence in language education, academic literacy, learner autonomy, multilingualism and translanguaging, inclusive education, and other emerging issues relevant to English language education.

The journal welcomes contributions from researchers and practitioners from Indonesia and around the world, particularly studies that offer meaningful theoretical, methodological, pedagogical, or contextual contributions to the field.

FOSTER JELT follows an open-access publishing model , making its published articles freely available to readers worldwide. The journal applies a rigorous editorial screening and peer-review process to maintain the quality and integrity of published research.
